Comprehensive Commercial Interior Design Solutions for Modern Businesses.
Welcome to Cat Mojo Interiors LLC! I'm Cat Mojo, the founder and lead designer, with a passion for transforming commercial spaces through innovative, functional design solutions with a focus on sustainable materials.
I hold an associate degree in architectural design from Three Rivers Community College and studied interior architecture at Boston Architectural College. I also have a certificate in construction management. With 20 years of experience in design and construction management, my career highlights include designing a terminal building at a local airport, overseeing construction administration for the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, and working with federal and state government agencies, including the ACOE, the US Navy, and the Department of Homeland Security.
I have extensive experience in commercial interior design for federal agencies such as the GSA, FBI, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. I also served as an Owner's Project Manager for a major capital improvement project at a Class A namesake building in downtown Boston. After running a pest control business with my husband, I returned to my true passion by founding Cat Mojo Interiors LLC, focusing on commercial projects where I can make the greatest impact.
At Cat Mojo Interiors LLC, I provide full commercial interior design services, including space planning, construction documents, FF&E selection and procurement, project management, construction administration, and design consulting. I collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and furniture dealerships to deliver integrated and high-quality design solutions.
Based in East Hampton, Connecticut, I am dedicated to enhancing local businesses and fostering community growth through sustainable and modern design trends. I actively support the interior design industry through my involvement with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), where I run Continuing Education Units (CEUs), work on the K-12 Task Force, and support the Connecticut design community by educating professionals on current issues and trends and guiding students on potential career options.
When not designing commercial spaces, you can find me volunteering as Vice President of the PTO and as a Board Member on my town's Arts & Cultural Commission, or spending quality time with my family exploring the many hiking and nature trails the state has to offer.
